*Position Summary*
The Project Manager is responsible for managing IT and telecom projects end-to-end, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout. This role delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope across the Company's managed services, infrastructure, and cybersecurity engagements. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for assigned projects, managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating cross-functional resources, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Manages the full project lifecycle for IT and telecom engagements including network deployments, data center buildouts, managed services onboarding, VoIP implementations, and cybersecurity service deployments.
* Develops detailed project plans including scope statements, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
* Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders on assigned projects, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
* Coordinates cross-functional project teams including field service technicians, system administrators, network administrators, and engineers to deliver project objectives.
* Monitors project performance against baselines, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
* Manages project budgets and financial performance, tracking expenditures, approving invoices, and reporting financial status to the Director of Operations.
* Identifies, assesses, and mitigates project risks and issues, escalating to leadership when necessary and maintaining risk and issue logs.
* Conducts project kickoff meetings, milestone reviews, and closeout activities including lessons learned sessions and client acceptance.
* Manages vendor and subcontractor relationships including scope negotiation, performance monitoring, and deliverable acceptance.
* Undertakes additional duties as reasonably directed and consistent with the scope of the role.

* Financial acumen for budget management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure and ambiguity.
* Proficiency with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and reporting software.
*Qualifications*
*Required*
* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum five (5) years of experience managing IT or telecom projects with demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
* Experience managing project budgets of $100,000 or more.
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
*Preferred*
* Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP).
* IT-related certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Project+, or vendor-specific certifications.
* Experience managing projects in managed services, ISP, or telecom environments.
* Experience with multi-site deployments across geographically dispersed locations.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or enterprise PSA tools.

Pay: $86,000.00 - $101,300.00 per year
