Summary
According to established procedures, receives and prepares patients and operates computerized non-invasive scanning equipment to provide MRI scans utilized by physicians in diagnosing extent of injuries or studying body systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess one of the following:
Credential in Sonography, Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Credential by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Credential in Sonography by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) (ARRT).
