Reporting to the Site General Manager, this role will lead Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across a busy production facility while supporting the continued development of a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities Promote and strengthen Health and Safety culture across the site Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation and industry standards Conduct internal audits and report findings to site management Carry out and update risk assessments and develop safe systems of work Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and ensure corrective actions are implemented Maintain the site Emergency Plan and ensure procedures are understood by staff Lead external Health and Safety and Environmental audits and inspections Organise employee inductions and training while maintaining accurate records Maintain Environmental and Energy Management Systems including ISO 50001 Carry out regular site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental licence requirements Requirements Health and Safety and Environmental qualification with relevant industry experience Experience in manufacturing, food production or industrial environments desirable Strong IT and reporting skills Excellent communication and organisational ability Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail What Is On Offer Full time permanent role Monday to Friday schedule Competitive salary Opportunity to progress within a large food production group Supportive and collaborative working environment Apply now to join a growing production facility where safety, compliance and continuous improvement are key priorities. xcfaprz
