As we continue our journey toward becoming Irelands most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Store Development team as a Retail Project Manager.
?????? The Project Manager will manage between 10to 25projects at any one time.
These projects vary in spend from between €100K to €10m per project.
The Project Manager must oversee each project and deal with all the different issues arising on each project on a daily basis, solving problems and responding in a timely and professional manner to each issue arising.
The Project Manager is responsible for the management of the retailers investment, from concept to delivery, and therefore must ensure that the project is delivered to the correct specifications in line with budget.
What you'll be doing: Direct third-party professionals to develop a functional building and environment (total development) in relation to each individual project which will ensure best in class in operational efficiency and customer services.
Develop designs for store layout in line with retailer requirements, commercial consideration, Musgrave brand image, defined specifications and standards.
Ensure that the design and layout are cost efficient to deliver (best in class).
Ensure that the agreed design and layout will maximise all opportunities for optimising the retailers profitability.
Liaise with third party design team to guide and manage them in developing store designs.
Co-ordinate with other internal Musgrave departments on the layout of store to best meet Musgrave and retailer requirements.
Project Manage all professional design teams and nominated suppliers, from commencement to completion of each project.
Act as a representative of the retailer and advise and guide them on project scope, timelines, costs and issues as they may impact on the delivery of the project within the agreed scope.
Working with all parties to resolve all issues to protect the best interests of the retailer and Musgrave.
Co-ordinate the schedule of events pertaining to the project.
Advise on all site issues on behalf of the retailer and Musgrave.
Ensure the whole project is managed in a manner that causes least disruption to the business which could impact loss of turnover revenue for both the retailer and Musgrave Constantly challenge all associated costs with the project to ensure they are necessary and efficient.
Ensure Agreed SOPS are carried out in line with our standardised ways of working Ensure cost control is applied and monitored for each project to ensure projects are in Prepare cost estimates and budgets per project in line with the Project Management template.
Agree the Budget with Retailers, Retail accounting and regional managers before projects proceed.
Preparation of the project tender document to be distributed to relevant parties in advance of project Analyse all tenders received from suppliers in response to requests.
Recommend various suppliers for each project based on agreed criteria to be selected and appointed by the retailer.
