Help us build a robust infrastructure for the future. Key Responsibilities: Develop innovative services using Golang to address vital product and business requirements. Design scalable solutions that utilize modern cloud technologies while adhering to best practices. Establish a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams that support them. Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to convert our technical vision into actionable quarterly roadmaps. Create high-quality, well-tested code tailored to the specific needs of our users. What We’re Looking For: A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering. Experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services within a service-oriented architecture. Capability to write high-quality, tested code to meet customer needs effectively. A passion for enabling an open financial system that encourages global connectivity. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced company transitioning from a startup to a mid-sized firm. Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing methodologies. Experience with Blockchain technologies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum). Experience in migrating large monolithic applications to microservices. Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. A background in developing financial, high-reliability, or secure systems. Crypto-savvy, with experience interacting with on-chain activities like Ethereum addresses, using ENS, or engaging with dApps. Job #: P75930 Pay Transparency Notice:
The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, based on work location. Full-time offers at Coinbase also come with the potential for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
