Salary Range:
$85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for manufacturing equipment and automation systems. Integrate embedded hardware and software components with existing production lines, sensors, and actuators. Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems issues on the factory floor to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals for embedded solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, electrical, production) to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration. Implement and validate robust control algorithms for real-time manufacturing processes. Ensure embedded systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Recommended Qualifications
Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded software development. Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and their peripherals. Familiarity with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) for real-time system design. Proficiency in hardware debugging using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP). Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT). Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET). Familiarity with PLC or SCADA systems integration. Proficiency in Python for test automation or data analysis. Understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles for OT environments.
