Coinbase is looking for experienced frontend engineers to join our team in developing the next generation of cryptocurrency applications and functionalities. You will play a crucial role in making cryptocurrency accessible to users around the globe. Your Responsibilities: Design secure, reliable services that integrate with blockchains and diversify cryptocurrency assets across our various business platforms, including Coinbase, Pro, and Custody.
Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for digital currency applications by enhancing existing cryptocurrencies with new features such as staking, voting, and predicting.
Develop infrastructural services that provide secure storage, accounting, and transaction capabilities to facilitate safe asset transfers for our customers.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to create a clear roadmap that represents our vision each quarter.
Contribute positive energy in all meetings, encouraging inclusivity and collaboration during interactions.
What We Are Looking For: A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in developing web applications and launching user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like React.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, focusing on performance, security, and usability.
Experience in collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the product and design lifecycle.
A commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets user needs.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on frontend teams in the finance or security sectors.
At least 1 year of experience developing React Native mobile applications or transitioning existing native apps to React Native.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase include potential bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
