About

A Breed Apart Animal Hospital is a thriving, small animal, practice on the West-side of Madison seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian. This is a salaried position with a flexible start date. Applicants should have experience with the following:
- Preventative Care
- Dental Prophy/Extraction,
- Routine and Emergency Surgery
- Communicating Effectively with Owners/Clients

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of animals
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and illnesses
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and wellness exams
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records
*REQUIREMENTS*
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid State veterinary license
- Proficiency in performing surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle animals with care and compassion

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
