About the role
Our cloud platform will play a crucial part in the success of Evinova as the foundation for our current and future digital products. We are creating a dynamic and innovative team to take our organization to the forefront of technology solutions for the life sciences industry. We are committed to delivering cutting-edge, secure, and regulated experiences for our customers. As we begin our journey, we are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce software engineering lead that isn't afraid to work on custom solutions within the Salesforce Experience Cloud landscape with a team of engineers.
The Salesforce Experience Cloud plays an important role in delivering our knowledge management capability and is integrated with our Service Cloud and core digital health products. It is integral in providing our customers with information on how to use our products and run their studies within their companies and specific regions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering and bring clarity and simplicity to complex problems. You will need to be very detail oriented and organized as well as, have a strong technical background. This role can and will likely grow beyond just the Salesforce Experience Cloud and Knowledge Management and will require someone with the ability to self-learn and take on new challenges. This role will be expected to both lead an engineering team and guide through experience, humility, and mentorship. You will help foster collaboration between your team and other teams within Evinova to ensure an enjoyable, efficient, and productive workspace for everyone.

Accountabilities
Salesforce Experience Cloud Best Practices: Lead development of custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components to create a custom web experience for the Evinova Knowledge Management capability.
Salesforce Integration Best Practices: Develop and document a comprehensive design for how integrations should be made with the Salesforce Experience Cloud product with our core products and micro-services.
Technical Leadership: Lead a team of skilled engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful implementation of the Salesforce Experience Cloud capability. Foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the Salesforce Experience Cloud meets all regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry, including data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards by working work the appropriate quality teams and following the expected processes needed.
Release Management: Architect the Salesforce Experience Cloud version control, release cycles, and recovery across a Multi-Tenant Platform supporting multiple customer-facing applications. This is vital in meeting multiple different application and platform release cycles that will require Knowledge
Management.
Security and Data Protection: Work with the Cyber Security teams to develop and maintain robust security access controls, encryption, and data protection, to safeguard sensitive pharmaceutical data within our deployments, security and compliance checks, and operations for our Knowledge Management and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Infrastructure as Code: Working with our DevOps teams utilize and assist in the enablement of seamless automated deployment, redeployment, and recovery of infrastructure through well-documented infrastructure as code for Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and analytics tools to track platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure platform alignment with customer requirements and company goals.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of our platform services. You will be responsible for recruiting the team required to deliver this solution as well as managing external delivery partners as we scale.
Quality Assurance: Work with and develop a strong repeatable process with our QA teams to ensure data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations for delivering and maintaining platform services.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the services and service mesh, ensuring transparency and ease of use for both internal teams and potentially customers.
Compliance Adherence: Comprehension of regulatory data requirements while creating, maintaining, and updating processes for testing and assessment of adherence to regulatory compliance policies.
Required Capabilities & Skills
Experience:
Experience in running a best practices Salesforce Experience Cloud team.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and a managing high-performance engineering team.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce technologies (e.g., Lightning Components, and Aura Components) and modern services (e.g., REST API, GraphQL, Streaming API, Open Search) practices.
Understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including compliance with FDA and international regulatory agencies.
Proficiency in security best practices, data protection, and encryption methods.
Experience with leading database technologies and data query languages.
Experience with modern programming languages (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java) is helpful.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong project management and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of data security standards and regulatory compliance in the healthcare and clinical research industry.
Well-versed in data security standards and regulatory compliance, particularly in the healthcare and clinical research industry.
Knowledge of industry good practice and standards such as ISO (multiple), GAMP GxP, ICH GCP, FDA 21 CFR, GDPR, CMMI, ITIL, GDPR.

In-Office Expectation:

In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $150,405 to $225,607. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
