*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and rehabilitation, with experience in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop effective care plans tailored to each patient's needs. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient evaluations.
* Provide direct patient care through various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy and physiotherapy.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions using EMR systems.
* Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
*Requirements*
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques.
* Experience in acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or home & community care is preferred.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Ability to work in various settings including hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities, and home health environments.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour
