Senior Design Engineer

A growing Engineering company is hiring a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. The company specializes in the Power, Renewables, and Rail sectors across the UK and has a number of projects in the pipeline.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects including substations, overhead lines, rail electrification, and onshore/offshore wind farms. The company is looking for the following experience:

M&E bias; however, a civils background will be considered. Experience working on HV substation projects (132kV and above). Good understanding of DNO and National Grid processes is beneficial. Completion of UK power projects is preferred.

The Senior Design Engineer role will offer:

Salary up to £65,000. Hybrid working with 2-3 days a month based in the office. Pension scheme. Private medical healthcare for you and your family.
