Velvet Trading GmbH is a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce company based in Germany. We specialize in home, office, and garden products and operate across 50+ European e-commerce platforms. We are expanding our technical team to support new automation projects, internal systems, and platform integrations.
*Position: Full-Stack Developer*
We are looking for motivated developers (junior to mid-level) who want to build real-world systems in a growing e-commerce environment. This role is ideal for Chinese developers currently in Germany or planning to relocate soon.
*Responsibilities*
· Develop and maintain web applications and internal systems
· Build backend services and APIs
· Work with databases and system infrastructure
· Write clean, maintainable code and documentation
· Write unit tests and follow good development practices
· Collaborate with product/operations teams to solve business problems
*Requirements*
· Experience with PHP, Python, Node.js, and/or Vue / React
· Familiar with at least one framework such as Laravel or Symfony
· Strong coding standards: documentation, unit tests, clean structure
· Strong logical thinking and ability to learn quickly
*Familiar with:*
· MySQL
· Linux
· Redis
· Nginx
· Docker
· Git
· NoSQL (MongoDB etc.)
*Nice to Have*
· Experience in e-commerce or platform integration
· Experience with ERP systems, automation, or APIs
· Familiar with cloud hosting (AWS, Hetzner, etc.)
