Join our team as a Customer Data Engineer and play a pivotal role in building robust data pipelines, supporting customer data needs, and ensuring high data quality across our rapidly growing organization.

This role is perfect for a data engineer who is passionate about data, eager to learn about the knowledge related to the data, takes ownership of the data to ensure that internal & external customers get the most accurate and insightful data to drive business decisions.

What You'll Do

Build, monitor, and optimize complex data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analytics and customer sharing. Collaborate with customers & internal team, understanding their data needs for analytics and data science models. Take ownership of data quality, actively resolving data issues and ensuring data integrity for end-users and customers. Document and refine data workflows, always aiming to enhance processes and quality standards for customer data solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development Design and maintain data pipelines with compatibility for analytics, BI reporting and ML models, ensuring data readiness for advanced analytics.

Advanced SQL Querying & Data Transformation Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to extract raw data from multiple sources

Data Quality Assurance & Ownership Actively monitor data flows, troubleshoot issues, and resolve inconsistencies, ensuring reliable, high-quality data for customer insights.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement Document, refine, and innovate data workflows, prioritizing consistency, efficiency, and customer data quality.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication Work with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support various ad hoc as well as long term data requirements and ensure seamless data integration.

Strong communication to explain and present the data as well as backend logic/flow to both technical and non technical audiences

Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science or relevant technical field or equivalent 3-5 years experience primarily working with data in analytics engineering, data engineering Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in data transformation and optimization. Python experts on building pipeline automation, logging and debugging Strong Database Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning. Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect). Experience with cloud data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with Business intelligence tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Streamlit/Plotly) for data presentation Familiarity with data science and machine learning principles and workflows.
