About

EnergyUnited is seeking an experienced
Applications Systems Analyst
to support, enhance, and maintain our enterprise applications. This role serves as a key liaison between IT and business units, ensuring systems are optimized to meet organizational needs.
You'll play a critical role in system implementation, troubleshooting, process improvement, and supporting end users across the company.
What You'll Do
Analyze business needs and recommend effective system solutions Lead and support application development, implementation, and upgrades Manage testing, documentation, training, and process improvements Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and prioritize enhancements Monitor system performance, including nightly processes and special job runs Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with software licensing Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology Provide ongoing support and training to end users Track project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders Skills & Requirements What We're Looking For:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field Minimum 5 years of IT experience in an applications analyst role Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience with Oracle, SQL, and reporting tools Knowledge of relational databases and client-server environments Valid North Carolina driver's license with a good driving record Preferred:
Experience with billing systems, HRIS, and reporting tools Familiarity with NISC modules, TOAD, IVR systems, and AMI Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environments Work Environment & Schedule
Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid work arrangement (combination of in-office and remote work) Occasional after-hours work may be required Must be available during major outages or severe weather events
Residency Requirement
Must live within EnergyUnited's service area or within a 40-mile radius of an EnergyUnited office.
