We are hiring a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Seattle, Washington location. This dual role is essential for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, inspecting contents, organizing inventory, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in a logistics setting. This is a key position within our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record incoming inventory in our management system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Be prepared for lifting tasks, which may involve items up to 50 pounds.
