Solutions Architect
The solutions architect will work closely with EAM sales and operations teams to review upcoming EAM implementation opportunities, design response approach, support technical sales process, account management, and services delivery. This includes providing support to the project manager with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing projects. As part of the operations team, the solutions architect will maintain relationships with customers and key decision makers to help identify follow-on business opportunities and maintain customer intelligence. What You Will Do: Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate the development of new business Planning and scheduling client meetings Meeting with new and existing clients to listen to their needs Communicating client needs to project managers and supervisors Identify new business opportunities with existing customers for current and/or additional services Participate in marketing activities, conference presentations, technical whitepapers Participate in proposal development including writing proposals and estimating level of effort Learn, understand and be conversant in ABS Consulting products and services Review published reports and news articles about existing and potential new clients to identify customer intelligence Networking to meet new potential clients Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time as necessary to meet business needs. What You Will Need: Education and Experience At least ten years of professional experience in a relevant field Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Industry experience (Energy: Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Utilities) EAM system (IBM Maximo Application Suite / Hexagon EAM / Ultimo) knowledge Exposure to sales process Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Great communications, analytical, and interpersonal skills Excellent presentation skills Able to demonstrate Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system (out of box and tailored) Able to communicate industry experience during demonstrations, proposals, and customer visits Technical writing experience Able to identify a request for proposal (RFP) for fitness Able to develop RFP response / statement of work (SOW) content Able to estimate effort and timeline for EAM implementation Able to identify and communicate sale opportunities Able to learn and conform to ABS Consulting sales processes Perform research and provide analysis on research performed Gather and analyze data effectively Apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems Comprehend and analyze complex problems Work under tight deadlines Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems Salary: $135K - $165K Reporting Relationships: Could report to the Project Manager or Program Manager or a more senior level Consultant.
