Join our busy warehouse in Detroit, Michigan, as an Order Picker! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring that every order is correct and ready for dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and enjoys working in a physically active environment. Experience with order picking or warehouse work is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn and contribute is most important. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include using scanning equipment to locate items, carefully picking items from shelves and racks, verifying order accuracy, and staging picked items for packing and shipping. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory management tasks as needed. Lifting of items up to 50 pounds may be required. - Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse, navigating various storage systems.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
