Job Summary:
We are recruiting skilled Forklift Operators for our major distribution center located in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will be integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include loading, unloading, and transporting materials using various types of forklifts. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move inventory.
  • Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Stack and organize merchandise in designated warehouse bays.
  • Perform routine pre-shift checks on forklifts and report any defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and protocols for forklift operation.
  • Ensure the proper use of required PPE, including safety vests and shoes.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support logistics flow.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including occasional Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and safe operating practices.
  • Willingness to wear and maintain required PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
