Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to and from designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system data.
- Stack and organize products in designated areas, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, such as order picking or packing.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification(s).
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
