As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to and from designated areas.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system data.
  • Stack and organize products in designated areas, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Support other warehouse operations as needed, such as order picking or packing.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification(s).
  • Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
