Are you a proven leader ready to manage a dynamic warehouse environment? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, scheduling shifts, optimizing workflow, and ensuring accurate inventory management. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe work environment, implementing and enforcing all safety policies, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. You'll work closely with logistics and management teams to meet operational goals and improve overall supply chain performance. Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity targets are met.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the proper use of warehouse equipment and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Promote a culture of safety, including mandated use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS software.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including familiarity with PPE and safe lifting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
