Our rapidly expanding distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, as you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from inventory shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and wear required **PPE**.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the shipping and **logistics** process.
- Participate in occasional **lifting** of boxes up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to adhere to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
- Capable of occasional **lifting**.
