Join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are looking for motivated individuals to efficiently pick and pack customer orders in our fast-paced warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting performance targets. You will be navigating the warehouse using various picking technologies and ensuring that the right items are selected with speed and precision. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using hand-held scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Maintain productivity standards and meet daily picking quotas.
- Conduct regular checks on inventory levels in assigned picking areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the broader logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to safety practices and proper handling of materials.
- Understanding of logistics operations.
