We are hiring an Order Picker for our Baltimore, Maryland warehouse! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and verifying items from warehouse shelves according to specific order requirements. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is crucial. You will be working in a busy warehouse environment and must be able to work efficiently and safely. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, and all employees are required to follow established Safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical activity, including the Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse stock locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking process.
- Stage picked orders for subsequent processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Identify and report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and consistently use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
