We are seeking efficient and detail-oriented Pickers/Packers to join our logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and ensuring the correct quantities are selected. Once picked, you will meticulously pack the items, ensuring they are protected during transit. Your contribution is vital to the smooth operation of our distribution center. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, and all team members are required to follow established protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting and movement of goods.
- Understanding of picking and packing procedures within a logistics setting.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
