About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our bustling New York City, New York **Logistics** facility! In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include accurately locating and picking items from inventory, inspecting goods, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, always prioritizing **Safety**. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company **Safety** policies and wear required **PPE**.
- Perform regular **Lifting** of boxes and products, up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support our **Logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform **Lifting** duties throughout the shift. Understanding and commitment to workplace **Safety**. Knowledge of **PPE** requirements is essential. Familiarity with **Logistics** workflows is an advantage. Excellent time management skills and a team-oriented attitude.
