Grand Rapids, Michigan is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to enhance our warehouse operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient transportation of materials throughout our facility. This role is pivotal to our Logistics workflow, requiring certified expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to Safety. You will operate various types of forklifts to manage inventory, load and unload trailers, and support production and shipping activities. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in a safe and productive manner, loading and unloading goods from trucks and trailers, moving inventory to and from designated storage locations, assisting with inventory cycle counts and stock placement, performing pre-operation inspections of equipment, and adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant Lifting and requires a comprehensive understanding of warehouse Logistics and Safety protocols. Your expertise ensures the smooth and secure flow of goods.
