About
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our San Antonio, Texas distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials, and stocking inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and containers safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from various departments and staging areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways and dock doors.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and accuracy checks.
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
- Deep understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Must consistently wear and utilize required PPE (e.g., safety vest, steel-toed boots).
- Reliable attendance and a proactive approach to tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
