Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Sort, label, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Use manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move materials.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and regular checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris, adhering to safety standards.
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist other warehouse staff as needed to ensure overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude towards work.
