As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the receiving, processing, and movement of goods within our distribution center. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Sort, label, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Use manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move materials.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and regular checks.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris, adhering to safety standards.
  • Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist other warehouse staff as needed to ensure overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
  • Must be reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude towards work.
