Join our dedicated team as a Picker/Packer in Raleigh, North Carolina! This is a key role in our warehouse, focused on the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from inventory, meticulously verifying quantities, and securely packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail ensures that our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition, directly impacting our reputation and success. Working within our logistics framework, you’ll contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Employee Safety is our highest priority, so strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE is required. This position demands physical stamina and involves regular Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Verify picked items and quantities against customer orders to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Operate hand scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly follow all company Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of boxes and products, adhering to safe manual handling techniques.
- Support the smooth functioning of our Logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Monitor inventory and report any discrepancies found during picking.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to outgoing packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse picking or packing position is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring regular Lifting .
- Dedication to workplace Safety and the appropriate use of PPE .
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
