Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all outgoing shipping documentation.
- Verify order contents against packing lists and customer orders.
- Arrange and schedule freight pickups with carriers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping department.
- Provide shipment status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and securely packed.
- Strictly follow all Safety procedures and wear designated PPE .
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of materials, adhering to ergonomic guidelines.
- Support the broader Logistics network with efficient outbound processes.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to shipments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related shipping role.
- Familiarity with common shipping software and practices.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements.
- Ability to handle Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prioritization of Safety and correct usage of PPE is essential.
