Seeking a reliable Material Handler for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin warehouse. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, ensuring materials are moved, stored, and accounted for accurately. You will be involved in receiving and dispatching goods, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining an orderly workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming warehouse stock and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production, and shipping docks.
- Stack and organize materials according to warehouse procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to operate various warehouse equipment. Must be able to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Good understanding of logistics principles and warehouse organization. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic. Prioritizing Safety in all tasks is essential.
