We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of goods within our busy distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from receiving and stocking to order picking and packing, all contributing to our commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory accurately.
- Sort, organize, and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately using scanning technology.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and order instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be capable of performing manual Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
