About
We are hiring experienced Order Pickers for our warehouse in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our logistics operations and overall customer satisfaction. This position requires a good physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure orders are processed quickly and correctly. We provide a safe work environment and expect all employees to utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to the overall success of the logistics and distribution process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices is a strong asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
