Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri? We are hiring for a crucial role in our busy distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and retrieval of materials within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, and ensuring materials are organized and accessible. Your role is fundamental to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment and expect all employees to strictly adhere to safety regulations. This includes the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires physical strength and dexterity, including the ability to perform significant lifting of materials, often exceeding 50 lbs. A valid forklift certification is highly preferred, and experience operating various types of warehouse machinery is essential. You will be involved in inventory management, cycle counts, and ensuring the accuracy of stock levels. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area is also a key responsibility.
