You will be responsible for accurately locating products within the warehouse, picking them according to order specifications, and then carefully packing them for transit. This position requires stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. You'll be actively involved in the movement of goods, which includes regular lifting of up to 40 pounds. We are committed to your safety and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ongoing safety training. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order slips.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate hand pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 40 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
