Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your expertise in operating various types of forklifts will be essential to our logistics operations. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This is a key position for ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring goods are handled with care.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock placement.
  • Follow all guidelines for the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety rules within the warehouse premises.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform lifting and material handling tasks as needed.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
