We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our distribution hub in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient flow of goods. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires regular physical activity, including considerable Lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Safely store inventory in assigned locations, optimizing space utilization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack items securely and ensure correct labeling for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces.
- Actively participate in maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Physical capability to handle tasks involving repetitive motion and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and prior experience with PPE .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
