Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision, using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all company policies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in using warehouse technology (RF scanners, WMS).
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
