Job Summary:
Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist in Dallas, Texas, to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures that our stock levels are precise, contributing directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our logistics framework. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting on inventory status.
  • Identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommending disposition.
  • Implementing measures to prevent inventory loss and damage.
  • Collaborating with warehouse operations and purchasing teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our logistics flow.

This role requires excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to analyze data. While not primarily a physically demanding role, occasional lifting may be required for auditing purposes.
