Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specific items from designated warehouse bin locations.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order manifests or using RF scanning devices.
- Package items securely and correctly for shipment.
- Transport picked orders to the appropriate staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Follow all established safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control activities as needed.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or warehouse issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain flow.
Working Conditions:
This position operates within a warehouse environment, which may experience varying temperatures. The job requires substantial physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE, is essential. You are an important link in our logistics process.
