Seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our growing team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, verifying stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with receiving and put-away processes. A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain the integrity of our inventory data. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all products are accounted for and stored correctly. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all company safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role may involve some lifting (up to 30 pounds), the primary focus is on accuracy and organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone organized and diligent to contribute to our logistics success.Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of new inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
