Job Summary:
We are recruiting a skilled Material Handler for our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This position is essential for the smooth and efficient flow of materials within our warehouse, supporting our critical logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement, storage, and organization of raw materials and finished goods. Experience with material handling equipment and a strong focus on Safety are required. This role demands physical capability and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
  • Support the logistics team in managing warehouse flow and space utilization.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Perform tasks involving manual Lifting and maneuvering of materials as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Experience operating various types of material handling equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and significant Lifting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles is a plus.
