Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, ensuring proper placement.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Adhere to all logistics and shipping schedules.
- Safely handle and move goods according to established protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Ability to perform regular lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
