The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Ability to operate various types of equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to meet performance targets.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, up to 75 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Demonstrate safe lifting and material handling practices at all times.
- Willingness to wear all mandated PPE, such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
