Job Summary:
Join our thriving distribution center in Durham, North Carolina as a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that goods move smoothly and accurately through our facility. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to operate various types of equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to meet performance targets.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, up to 75 lbs, throughout the shift.
  • Demonstrate safe lifting and material handling practices at all times.
  • Willingness to wear all mandated PPE, such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
