This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving and unpacking shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and maintaining a clean work environment. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding tasks and issues.
- Participate in training programs to enhance job skills and Safety awareness.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to following instructions and procedures.
