Job Title – Optical Advisor
Location – Sheffield, Meadowhall
Hours – 40 hours (must be flexible to work weekends)
Salary – from £27,040 per annum, bonus & benefits, full training will be given

It’s our Optical Advisor's role to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed whilst providing a 5-star service. Our Optical Advisor's should enjoy meeting new people and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with both patients and ophthalmic professionals alike.
Your day to day responsibilities may vary however a typical day will involve the following duties:
- Building relationships with patients and ensuring regular communication prior to and following their treatment
- Assisting in patient consultations / practice visits
- Undertaking diagnostic scans on patients using state of the art equipment as part of a full health check
- Assisting patients to complete health & lifestyle questionnaires
- Introducing patients to their optometrist
- Scheduling treatment dates for vision correction surgery
- Advising on traditional vision correction solutions, namely glasses and contact lenses
- Discussing finance options
- Accurately maintaining patient records
The successful candidate will:
- Be driven and passionate with a willingness to succeed
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
- Be self-motivated to work with and without supervision
- Have previous experience working towards sales targets and personal KPI's
- Possess strong organisational skills
- Be commercially aware whilst providing world-class customer service
