Innovate and architect scalable, integrated edge cloud solutions that address industry-specific requirements leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Compute Cloud Customer, Roving Edge devices, and public cloud technologies. Produce comprehensive solution papers, technical documentation, enablement materials, blogs, reference architectures, demos, and case studies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work in tandem with internal teams, including development, support, QA, and product management, to design, test, and enhance edge cloud solutions. Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure their applications are certified and integrated with Oracle Edge Cloud platforms, focusing on interoperability and security alignment.
Customer Engagement:
Engage as a senior technical contributor for strategic customers, understanding their needs, designing tailored architectures, and transforming business requirements into secure, resilient edge cloud solutions. Lead workshops, proofs of concept, and roadmap planning sessions to facilitate customer onboarding and long-term success.
Cross-Platform Adaptability:
Utilize your experience across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to craft hybrid and multicloud solutions that seamlessly integrate Oracle's edge and public cloud offerings.
Additional Requirements: U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility
Technical Expertise:
10+ years of experience in architecting scalable solutions across diverse public and private clouds, virtualization platforms, networking, data migration, and IaaS. Proven record of delivering edge cloud solutions using OCI, Compute Cloud@Customer, and Roving Edge devices.
Security & Compliance:
Track record of working in secure, regulated, or sovereign environments.
Industry Knowledge:
Expertise in designing and implementing edge cloud solutions for varied industries including Government, defense, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and more, with a deep understanding of compliance and security requirements.
AI / ML Familiarity:
Understanding of machine learning, generative AI, and ML operations, particularly in distributed or edge environments, is advantageous.
Commercial Insight:
Strong ability to align technical solutions with customer business goals and long-term strategies. Experience with presales and working closely with executives is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
