Azure Data Engineer

Job title : Azure Data Engineer Location: Chesterfield, VA (hybrid) Duration : 6+ months

***local Richmond, VA candidates required for onsite work ***only submit candidates able to interview onsite. This is REQUIRED ***candidate will be required to work ONSITE 3 days/wk, or additional days if requested. This is REQUIRED Responsibilities: Working with our business partners to develop data mapping from one system to another is required. As such the candidate will be expected to manage data mapping from a legacy system to a new system. The candidate will have a solid attention to detail and be able to manage tedious tasks. The candidate needs to be proficient with Azure Data Factory Pipelines and Sql Server stored procedures or SSIS packages. There may also be some work required to create or support packages on local servers as well. Required Skills:

Candidate will need to be experienced with Azure Data Factory Pipeline or SSIS packages for Sql Server environments Candidate will have experience managing source code in a GIT repository using Azure DevOps. Candidate will have successful experience with estimating level of effort and managing deadlines. Candidate could have data profiling and comparison experience with Toad Datapoint Candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Candidate will need to be self motivated, independent, and willing to work flexible hours. Candidate is required to have a dependable high speed internet connection because some work will be performed from home. Candidate will be expected to pass CJIS background checks.
