Competencies: 8+ years experience required EIS : Network Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Strong Knowledge of Cisco, ACI, F5 or other load-balancing • Strong Knowledge of routing and switching technologies and protocols • Strong Knowledge of high-speed data technologies (MPLS/PIP/Carrier Diversity) • Strong Knowledge of Palo Alto and Panorama • Strong Knowledge on Network device monitoring tool such as SolarWinds
Roles & Responsibilities • Work with customers in understanding the environment's Network Architecture • Capable of creating High level Diagrams and Low-level diagrams of the network setup • Documenting and enforcing system standards • Review and oversee third party vendors with implementations • Secure network systems by enforcing policies and monitoring access • Troubleshooting network performance, problems and outages • Plan and coordinate network upgrades and optimizations and refresh • Support troubleshooting of firewalls, routers and switch environments • Provide remote troubleshooting for and fault finding of issues and initial installation • Capacity planning and audit of deployed network • Work with third party engineers on regular basis • Work with application project management and developers • Participate in meetings with customer and third-party vendors
