Business Analyst - Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Location: Remote
We are seeking to hire a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Business Analyst to support our critical PAM remediation efforts and the strategic China Azure PAM project. This role is essential for enhancing our global security posture and ensuring compliance across diverse environments. The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between technical teams and business units, managing complex project requirements, facilitating stakeholder communication, and optimizing resource allocation. They will be responsible for in-depth analysis of current processes, gap identification, and proposing targeted solutions. This role will also ensure proper documentation, risk management, and knowledge transfer, contributing to the long-term scalability of our PAM initiatives. By bringing in this expertise, we aim to accelerate our project timelines, improve our overall PAM capabilities, and demonstrate clear ROI on our PAM investments. This hire is crucial for the success of our ongoing PAM projects and will play a key role in strengthening our organization's security infrastructure.
Analyze current privileged access processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
Gather and document business requirements for PAM projects and initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Create and maintain project documentation, including process flows, use cases, and user stories
Facilitate meetings between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on PAM objectives
Develop and maintain PAM policies, procedures, and best practices documentation
Assist in the creation of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
Perform gap analysis between current state and desired state of PAM implementation
Support the evaluation and selection of PAM tools and technologies
Contribute to the development of PAM metrics and reporting dashboards
Assist in change management processes related to PAM implementations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT security or identity and access management
Strong understanding of privileged access management concepts and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Familiarity with PAM tools like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Thycotic
Experience with ITIL frameworks and IT service management processes
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
Experience with Agile methodologies
